WEATHER TIDBIT

Week of April 10-16, 2019

This past weekend looked so promising, days out. Sunny and 60's. As the week went on, the forecast got gloomier. Rain overnight Friday and Saturday turned into fog Saturday morning, making for a mystic Strive 5K/5mile run along White Bear Lake. Hats off to those who showed up and in good numbers. It was interesting watching the fog move in and out during the run. Sunday I tried to run between the showers but failed and got soaked in a downpour. Why couldn't Monday have been our weekend? A major winter storm is forecasted for this week. Will it play out? Aside from that, area ponds are free of ice as the big lakes are holding onto their ice.

Astro note:
April 16: Mercury near Venus.
