WEATHER TIDBIT

Week of March 13 to 19, 2019

After a relatively quiet week of weather, aside from the record cold Feb 3 and 4 (low in the teens below), we were treated with another generous snowfall overnight Saturday and early Sunday. I totaled 6.1 inches, bringing my season total to 71.5 inches. Winds with falling temperatures, which iced up roads from the rain that fell before the changeover to snow, made for an unpleasant driving experience late Saturday. The strength of the March sun was felt on Sunday, which helped burn off the snow and ice from roads and driveways. Rain forecasted for this week will give us all something to talk about as this crazy stretch of weather we're in continues.
