Did you notice that extra step in other people's walk or a smile on your coworkers face? It's amazing how a few days above freezing and fresh air can change your perspective. Dang, that was a good old-fashioned cold snap. About the only thing we're missing now is snow. My coldest morning was on December 31 at 18º. I heard many reports of -20º and colder in some of the more outlaying northern parts of the metro and this readership. "Is this cold over?" is the next question. Probably not. While we have some relief this week, the cold is expected to return, hopefully in shorter bursts.
