Expect a period of clouds with passing snows, some of which could be locally heavy. Temperatures should turn colder. Sunny skies with cold temperatures are favored on Sunday and Monday, Dec. 11-12. Clouds with a passing light snows are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 13-14. Sunny skies with warming temperatures are favored from Thursday to Monday, Dec. 15-19. Clouds are expected to roll in with rain changing to snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 20-21. Precipitation totals should be light. Prospects are good for increasing clouds and precipitation from Thursday to Tuesday, Dec. 22-27. I won't rule out some rain but most precipitation should fall as snow during this period. Locally heavy precipitation totals are possible with falling temperatures. Sunshine is favored on Wednesday, Dec. 28. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered snows are favored from Thursday to Saturday, Dec. 29-31.
